Hmmm... I know of an appliance repair place near me in Montreal where there are lots of dishwasher racks of that vintage... Would you be able to post or send me a picture of the rack that needs to be replaced??
I've got a set of Inglis racks 'in stock' down in Ogden, but they are for a late 60s or early 70s machine... |

All of the racks need to be replaced, both the top and bottom one. Can you get me the contact information for this place? I'll call them. Thanks! |

Damn, I didn't think to take pictures of the racks on the dishwasher before I left. It's at a friends place so I'd have to pop by and ask. |

My guess it's probably the "Slant style" top rack... I could be wrong, does this look familiar? Does it have the door mounted basket? (This is a Kijiji saved image, not my own DW. I wish it was though!) |

Yeah, that looks familiar, but the colouring was blue, not white. It actually has two door mounted baskets, oddly enough.. I've only ever seen Whirlpool/Inglis dishwashers with one only. They're both blue as well. |

I had a late-80s Canadian Kenmore (rebadged Inglis) that had the two racks in the door - I loved the upper one for utensils like ladles, spoons and spatulas!
My partx guy is a francophone and he keeps really odd store hours - I will try to remember to bring my camera back to town next week and get some pictures (if I can get into the store!) of the racks he has available. Just to give you and idea of his prices, though, he had a set of Maytag 'reverse racks' from a mid-80s machine that someone was interested in and he wanted $60 for (upper and lower rack plus the cutlery basket) but this was deemed too expensive... I would guess the Inglis racks would be in the same price range. |
