Our much beloved old tumble dryer is in trouble as we can't find a replacement heater for it. The Philips D165 has been with us since at least 1984 and never caused us a spot of bother so for sentimental reasons we would like to keep it going. I have seen a Philips 161 Heater that fits a lot of models including an AWB165......do you think that would be suitable? It certainly looks the part.

Picture Please

If you could post a picture of the old heating element, it may help. Often you can use a generic heating coil of the correct wattage, or there may be something that is close enough, but for a different machine.

Hi! garyl

Good idea about a pic of the element. Hopefully this will help.
