So what about this? It's only 4 hours away from me...any idea the year? Is there someone in the Bay Area closer to this? It should stay in the "family!"

That is a nice machine and a rare prize as well. You should grab it and enjoy it for a while. I would certainly not replace any of your existing collection with this. Tolerate it as long as you can and then perhaps WILL it to another member that has the room.

It is differently after 1976 as it is the unshaded copper-tone color and could even be real early 1980s. It is certainly rare as WW was not selling well and quality control was the pits so that the few that made it out of the factory did not have a long life. We were as now servicing all brands of major appliances from the mid 1970s on, and we never saw much from WW in regular washers and dryers. The main thing that we did see were thier FL washers and thier FL stack machines during this time period. |
