I got the hose in today. Was very simple to change it out. I ran a load of dishes tonight and used the Sani-cycle. I at first worried that it was taking soooo long to get off of delay and move from normal temp to Sani temp. My hot water is set pretty high already. And that baby got HOT! I want to get a temperature gauge and see how hot the water is on the final drain. I was delighted as could be when the normal light went off and the Sani- light came on.
Just a side note....does anyone watch "keeping up appearances"? everytime I say "Sears Lady Kenmore Automatic Dishwasher with Hygienic Rinse" I am reminded of Hyacinth. Too Funny ! Man! I just went and checked the machine. The dishes are too HOT to touch!! WOW !!

Hyacinth Bucket

I love that show. " Do mind my matching executive luggage with the genuine leather embellishments an initial Richard."
Do you suppose Hyacinth would entrust her Royal Doulton to her Sears Lady Kenmore Dishwasher with Hygenic Rinse if Onslo , Daisy or Rose drank from one of the cups? Anyways have a great day and Happy Dishwashing.

Christopher

The Dishes.....

After the dishwasher had finshed I opened it up to take a look. There was a large puff of steam and the dishes were way too hot to touch! It was already past my bedtime, so I had to leave them. Will check them when I get home. The light bulbs were appliance bulbs that did not screw in, they pushed in and turned about a 1/4 turn. Picked those up at Lowes. Now I need to work on sprucing her up. I am also going to start looking for some plexiglass. I JUST have to see inside that machine while she is running.....any suggestions on that? Have a good day guys !

light bulbs

Hmm, then they were "bayonet" base bulbs. Figures, since they're subject to vibration and screw base bulbs would be prone to loosening.
