We've just put an offer on a house with its original 1954 dishwasher intact and possibly still in working order. Pic attached and if you click on the link under my name, you'll see the original brochure.

We don't plan on keeping it and I'm wondering if there's somewhere/someone who would be interested in purchasing it. We would also consider donating to a GE museum or an appliance-related museum, if such a thing exists.

Appreciate whatever insight you have!

Sarah

p.s. it's in Ottawa, Ontario

Paul

It looks like they will be hauling out their vintage torquoise kitchen units too if those Ikea schematics are anything to go by.

Too paraphrase an icon "You can never have too many torquoise kitchens, appliances, and utensils" :)

Paul I hope you can get the DW.

Vacbear58 I thought the same as you on the Ikea schematics.

The picture's kinda fuzzy, but that dryer may attract your attention as well! Good luck, Paul.

I fear that I may indeed be interested in that entire kitchen - it would make a great backdrop for the 'dishwasher gallery' I am planning in the garage loft in Ogden!   Think they would look good up there, Al???  Hubby won't... LOL

Oh, and I have sent an email expressing interest in the dryer too.   I would flip out if it was a Frigidaire that was a match (or a close enough match) to my Frigidaire washer!!!

Certainly would look good there Paul, and another great display space for your many smaller appliances. A dishwasher gallery sounds great, and you surely do have the room although hauling dishwashers up to the first floor does not sound like fun to me ....
