I stopped into Lowe's today to get some supplies for KK's "facelift" (new cord, fill flume hose, braided fill hoses) and guess what I found? A 3/4" ID drain hose, which, when the tapered end (1 1/4") is cut down, works perfectly on the Frigidaire 1-18! I haven't installed it yet, but it fits snug on the plastic fitting. So now, no more screwing around with connectors, reducers, goosenecks, cut lengths of tubing, etc.

Unless quantity/items vary by location, just check the Plumbing aisles by the washer fill/drain hoses and they should be right there!

Now it's time for some Jet Action!!

I had the same fits with my 1-18...that's good to know! Thanks, Austin!
