Picked up a Servis Quartz 6035 yesterday. Seems to be in really good order. I've just done a 95 degree wash with a descaler. It looks like new inside still. I'm just going to put a new belt on it and probably some new brushes then touch up the bits of rust and respray it white as its beige at the moment. Nice to have a quartz back in the family, its been a while lol
I'm doing a new utility room this year and the quartz will be in the new scheme along with a large capacity daily driver Steve |

Hi Steve, Fantastic machine, a Quartz is something I must find sometime! Anyway, what makes you want to repsray it white? I'm sure it is meant to be beige as Servis did make "Almond" machines like Hotpoint. KEEP IT AS IT IS! :D James. |
