Picked up a Servis Quartz 6035 yesterday. Seems to be in really good order. I've just done a 95 degree wash with a descaler. It looks like new inside still. I'm just going to put a new belt on it and probably some new brushes then touch up the bits of rust and respray it white as its beige at the moment. Nice to have a quartz back in the family, its been a while lol

I'm doing a new utility room this year and the quartz will be in the new scheme along with a large capacity daily driver

Wow, a proper Servis! Makes a change from the Amica and waaaay better made than the M6842!

About a new daily driver, how about another 8kg servis? You sad you really liked those!

What will happen to the Amica, and is that an AEG dryer looming about???

Jacob

Hi Jacob, well i'm still using my 8.5Kg Servis as my daily driver and probably will keep that to be honest as its a damn good washer. I still have the Amica also. Yes that is AEG condensor dryer you've spotted there

Respray???

Hi Steve,

Fantastic machine, a Quartz is something I must find sometime!

Anyway, what makes you want to repsray it white? I'm sure it is meant to be beige as Servis did make "Almond" machines like Hotpoint.

KEEP IT AS IT IS! :D

James.

beige or white

It is indeed meant to be beige but if it's going for a new paint job it will become white cause I hate beige!. I won't do it myself anyway i'll have the panels done with someone who knows what they are doing lol
