Cool black panels!

I think I may be the most enthusiastic black panel fan on the site, but I am pretty sure that all three machines here are the same model! I know the first and third are, but if I'm looking through the glare on the second correctly, it looks like the same machine too.

These are the 23721, 1983 Kenmore 70 machine that was Kenmore's best seller from late 1983-1986. They sold so many I'm not surprised there are three on C/L at the same time. I washed two loads in one of these yesterday. This is the model that I have 9 of, wouldn't mind getting rid of 6 or 7 to good homes.

in MN...

You should consider calling future posts something like "Things for sale in MN..." Listings like these... not so useful for people in New Jersey...

Just saying, for chumps like me that look through them and go "damn that's in MN..."

(I'm not the only one I'm sure)

Oh, I don't know, someone in New Jersey might just be looking for such a washer, and distance is no object. How bad does someone want something?

I always laugh at the ads that say "washer needs a tune up. WTH is that?

Tune-up

macboy91si's profile picture
Maybe it needs a set of spark-plugs and the ignition timing check? Tune-up = worn out. Also my other favorite is when the seller says something is wrong with th machine and then says "cheap fix". If it's so cheap why did you sell this and dip for a $700 new machine?

Also, let's not forget the famous C/L car ads to the tune of "1986 Ford Truck, runs great, needs motor..." WTH

Let's not forget the 90's GAS washers and the "It's a Maytag" when it's a Whirlpool.

...or "works great, but makes noise"..or "works good, but leaks"... If it's noisy, then I'm thinking it doesn't work so great!
