That's a pretty neat machine! Way better design than the BSH stuff of today! I really hope you can put it back to good working conditions!

Hello and welcome...

That is one of my faverite dishwashers and one that I wish to have very NICE !

That is a SMEG machine.

I had a GM 215 model it was a cold water fed dishwasher with a built-In Water softner system as well as yours.

Now I have been packing boxes of literiture and in one of them I have a manual for the one in your pic.

And a GAGGENAU book with pics and explanation of the product.

I will look for it today and hopefully find it.

Till then I know the Model says GM 7...

When I find It ...I'll make sure for reasurence on that model for you.

The resest dial on that machine is so cool as well as the cycle symbols.

 CLASSIC GAGGENAU MINAMAL CHIC !

thanks so much

Hello ...

Monkoustic..

I found the Model Number...

They had Three lines...

One Model... just different control panel colors made the number change.

Your Model Number is...

GM 286-710 Last three are the color number.

Which yours stands for Stainless Steel.

the others where...

White on White...720

Black on Black....760

You have 4 wash programs.

1. Intensive-

Cold prewash

Long wash at 170f

2 Cold rinses

Last rinse at 155f

Drying

That symbol is the pot and plate underneath.

2. Normal-

Cold prewash

Short wash at 150f

2 Cold rinses

Last rinse at 155f

Drying

That symbol is a glass, cup ,  and plate underneath.

3. Economy-

Short wash at 120f

Cold rinse

Rinse at 155f

Drying

Than symbol has a dot and rectangle.

4. Light-

Cold prewash

Short wash at 120f

2 cold rinses

Rinse at 155f

Drying

That symbol has a glass with a sparkle.

Top left of the dial.

5. Prerinse-

1 Cold rinse, drain.

All Drying is Turbo hot air drying...

Which my GM 215 did not have.

The spray arm at the bottom has a three position spray system ...

1. Normal

2. Higher

3. Intensive wash pressure..

I used to use that 3 position and take a the top rack out and put in major pot and pans in and get a Excellent clean !

U can hear the sprayarm turning really fast.

Fun machine.

My scanner is packed up.

But I well try to get to my friends this week to scan and document this machine here for future reference at A.W.

There was no parts listning there is a circuit diagram.

But you might have to get in touch with Gaggenau for the timer.

Your model used and electronic board mine was electromachanical a lot of clicking lol.

If you need me to scan and copy the manual for you E-mail me and I will do so.

Hopes this helps for now.
