After looking online again to change my machine I was going for the miele W5740 but after the last time and all the trouble I had with my dryer, I’ve decided to go for an ise 1607W (Asko) machine from a local independent retailer in Bradford, the service has been fantastic so far and he is even coming to install the machine today even though his shop is closed. To me it proves that little shops that need our custom still provide the best aftercare. Once the machine arrives around 2pm ill post some pictures and do some videos for whoever is interested…
Much Excited NorthernMary x |

I want one so badly ;) What a great styling! Sure it looks (and I bet feels and works) WAY better than a Miele! |

OUT OF THIS WORLD !
The Machine arrived well packed and on a wooden pallet. The machine is very well built and solid, shutting the door is going to take a while getting used to, the machine to me feels like a professional machine for a domestic environment well-built and will take plenty of hammer, Well I’ve done a load of whites in the machine on a colours/whites programme 50 deg 1600 spin and it took 1hr 27mins, the machine is well built and there are no cabinet vibrations at all at full 1600spin, the machine spins at 1600rpm for 5 mins before doing a couple anti crease tumbles then the door automatically opens, The pump on the machine sounds powerful and not as noisy as in other machines I’ve had. The detergent drawer is the deepest I’ve seen so plenty of room for the powder, the machine uses plenty of water. I’m sorry to say but after using a miele and now using the ise (Asko) there is no comparison in built quality and the quality of the machine. I’ll get around to taking some pictures once the cam has charged up, in the meantime ill post some I took with my phone |

**WANT!!!**
I've been drooling over the US version of this machine for a little while and now I NEED one!!! It's GORGEOUS! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE the lack of a tub boot!
It appears that your machine has 2 more options than the US version as well as a faster spin. How are the water levels without the high water level selected? What's the other option? CLICK HERE TO GO TO Pulsator's LINK |

foraloysius I don’t think i really need the high water level on to be honest but were not on a water meter so we pay £20 a month for all the water I can use, I’ve run out of washing to do ! First time ever so I’m taking my parents laundry just so I can use the machine. This machine is a keeper mike I love it !

I love this machine so much =]
Love the flat door with lack of door bowl, and the lack of door seal Automatic door opening And the clean minimalist control panel The Ability to add a higher water level, so rinsing results should be perfect And the short programme times so you aren't waiting 2.5/3 hours for a wash. A question NorthernMary...does the time adjust itself, so if the machine isn't fully loaded then it shave time off the wash cycle? like fuzzy logic And what does the Automatic programme do? would love to see you do a boilwash in this with some whites.. looking forward to the videos. Auto This program automatically adjusts the length of the main wash and the number of rinses to the amount of laundry loaded in the machine. the machine does have "Fuzzy logic" up dates at three points in the cycle 15 mins in to the main wash then updates again after the main wash spin and the again after the final rinse, yeah am going to be getting the matching dryer. To be fair the machine is a commercial machine and it has ten years parts and labour which means if the bearings do fail which are very unlikely the machine will be repaired under the warranty. Ise will insure these machines in a high use environment for three years. The machine is an asko machine and its far better built than anything on the market at the moment even in my own opinion they are built better than a miele. I’ve had a miele in the past and compared to the Ise the Ise wins hands down. I think there is nothing wrong with the display it’s down to personal preference to me it doesn’t look out of place doesn’t look cheap neither. The asko model W6564 is exactly the same machine except the Ise is 8KG. Asko perform long life tests on their washing machines and dryers of 10,000 hours, which equates to around 20 years of domestic use. Just like miele.

Hi James, was curious to see how they had specked the dispenser as the older Askos had the smoothest sides and powerful spray jets that flush the complete drawer very well..., this looks like they have replaced the middle jets with larger holes to form bigger but less plumes of water!!
Is the cotton spin a continuous ramping up at the end of cycle?? |

Hi mike,
The fill jets do a very good job at keeping the dispenser clean and free from powder residue, the Drawer is nice and deep I’ve given up on using softener as I’m not good enough at aiming in the hole for the softener, the cotton spin a continuous ramping up to 1600. The machine is worth its weight in gold! I’m one very happy owner! What’s the dispenser like on your model? NorthernMary |

I may consider getting one of these for my mother. How do you find the vibration on spin? Would this do well on a wooden second floor? |

With its 4 legged suspension vibrations are kept to a minimum, but no washer has the god particle factor - saying that the Asko`s tend to carry on spinning with uneven loads, they just power through it!!,
If you have this on a wooden second floor you would need to make sure the wooden joists are as best supported and bolstered...you could also sit it on a thick metal plate or a concrete paving flag or cast like they do for shower basins - there are a number of factors to aid where its fitted but again you would have to spec the individual needs!! |

Dispenser
The Flap doesn’t life up mike you have to be very careful to aim for the little hole to get it in the conditioner compartment; it’s the only flaw in the machine to be honest, I don’t really see why they have done it? But there must be a method behind the madness I just love the hydroactive drum I just keep admiring the quality and engineering that’s gone in to the whole machine NorthernMary |
