Is the cu ft the same for the stainless as the rear control?

OMG! Imperials!! The washer sells for $2700 up here, I couldn't justify spending the extra $800 to get the stainless steel cabinets... They look great!!!

I'm actually VERY happy that you took a picture of the washer next to your rear control washer. Now I know I didn't go wrong buying rear control. (The rear control ones were also cheaper than front control, not sure why.)

From what I've seen, the tub looks pretty much the same on the rear control as it is on the Imperials.

So, Jetcone, are you going to the get the pedestals for the Imperials?

jetcone's profile picture

They are already too tall. They do have the same capacity as the bacsksplash version. My backsplash version has a higher yearly energy consumption sticker though. It has the heat boost feature which I like but maybe only use bi-monthly. I wonder how they figure how many times you would use that feature to calculate the energy usage since it is an option.

Boosted Hot

I wish they had included Boosted Hot on the Imperials. I originally wanted that model and still wouldn't mind having it. I believe there are still a few of them in the warehouse too. (combo might confirm)

However, I have managed to get by without it for 2 years and my whites aren't dingy.

so when it is tumbling there is water sloshing about and over the clothes. Rinses great!

Yes I wish these had boosted hot but my white one does so I can avoid dingy whites if it comes to that!! I actually only use the boost feature infrequently. My detergent" Rosalie's" really scours out the dirt in plain hot water.

Thanks for the info Jon, they do look great together, was surprised you couldnt do a Hot Wash, Warm rinse etc, as wouldnt that be the most used programme with the warm rinse??, the addative compartment drawer looks deceptively bigger than from the front panel, does it flush well?? Does it fill the tub from the top left or is that a recirculation jet spray?? How long is the final spin on cottons wash??

Am glad to see you got the adjusted water levels right, what have we told you about writing detailed iluminary documentartum when its "Pims o Clock" time..!!!

The drawer flushes very well no residue left there, as you can see in the vid I posted the fill is at 12 o'clock but that is not recirculating, the solid fins recirculate the water over the clothes. As for final spin its about 5-7 mins with the last 3 being 1,000 rpm, then it does nice tumble at the end to get the clothes off the drum.

A Solid machine!
