Has anyone made a claim during an extended warranty period on their washing machine (offered here in Canada since around 2008)?
I am considering a Miele InteliQ 100 purchase for $2050 Canadian + Tax (13%) for a total price of $2300 (including the 10 Year Miele Warranty - a $500 value - during the month of February).
I am wondering if Miele actually comes through on their end when you do make a claim or is it like many warranties that cause you to go temporarily insane trying to collect until you just give up.....
Anyone out their ever made Miele cough up parts and actually fix their machine under warranty.....for FREE?
Apparently, I guess Miele offers this promo on occasion when sales get a bit slow. When I was looking at buying a set of Miele machines, I had just missed out on a "Get an extra 5 years warranty free!" kind of promo.
I don't honestly have experience with claiming repairs on an extended warranty with Miele, so I'm afraid I'll have to feign ignorance here.
The IntelliQ 100 is a decent machine, with a lot of different cycles, decent manufacturing and a lot of flexibility. I just wish that the dryer wasn't almost the same price as the washer!
