My Kenmore Oasis that I have had since 2008 has started to make a noise.  I see the horror movies on youtube of these breaking to bits in the middle of the high speed spin.  I notice the noise when I am washing a full load of say towels.....I do not have the window lid and have no idea how to trick the machine so I can actually see what is happening.  But it is a very distinct "clack clack" almost as tho something on the inside is moving around.  I can stop the machine and move the tub around but it doesn't produce the sound.  Also does not sound like dog ears in the agitator.  As this is my daily driver for the moment while I work on the maytag I wanted to try to fix the problem before it is one.  Any suggestions?

Well the magnet thing in the video did not work. It still senses the lid is up!
