Hi all I'm looking for someone in the UK with a 1950s Twin Tub washing machine to appear in a Television production. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of some people. Do you have one?

Thank you : ) A

Twin tub for tv

Most twin tubs really became popular in the 1960s , I do have a Hoover twin tub which I believe is from 1959 , a rolls twin tub from the early 60s , perhaps a wringer washer would be more authentic.
Several collectors on here have 1950s wringers especially chestermike who has a great collection.

Hi Aimee, I know a few of us here have had contact with Laura Vaughan and are awaiting a next follow up by telephone etc...

Looks like its gonna be another fab programme and I know speaking to a few other members here we are keen to provide appliances that fit the criteria AND the instructions of how they are used correctly (unlike that poor Hoovermatic twintub in Electric Dreams)...LOl

Similarly although we are not children of the 50`s (Just) we know enough contacts to provide you with the social info and life experiences as well...

Regards, Mike
