I am the new owner of an Amana Wringer model TWA202, exactly like the one in thread number 39079 (I paid $15) and I am searching in vane for the agitator post casting. The one on my washer has disintegrated to the point where the washer is still usable but only if you keep it a little under half way full of water. I am hoping to fix it to work properly if I can and then have it painted avocado green by my friend who paints cars. I have tried davesrepair.com and pointandclickappliancerepair.com as well as searspartsdirect and everyone informs me it is NLA and there is no know manufacturer making it anymore. If anyone has any leads or the actual part I need,I would be happy to compensate you and pay the shipping! Thanks guys! Brian.

SQ Type Wringer washers

Are still being made in some other country and being sold by Leamans Hardware in Ohio, get a hold of the parts list for one of these newer machines and see if the part might be interchangeable. Other than that you may have to find a SQ WW and part it out or take the old post and have a machinist make you one. The last approach might be expensive.
