That is NOT a 1960 KitchenAid. It could not have even been installed in 1960.

 

That's like a KDS 16 or 17.  In 1960 they would have been using "Big Blue" for the Wash Arm and not even close to that styling. That machine has the Hydro Sweep.

 

The 1960 would have had the Control Dial on the bottom right of the Lower Panel.

This is the A version that offers the energy saver dry option, it came out around 1976 and was made through 1977.

Brian....while true you are the biggest B....and yet puzzled that you have no Butt!....must be flat from riding against my GE FF during the spin.....better watch out for that Calypso's washplate, that dome nutates as if to open up and widen the very fibers of.....well, nevermind!

I would live it, but I may not be able to get up to the area until June - July time frame. That's not written in stone. Just have a few commitments before my trip to NY in late June.
