Duvet wash selected, 40c, i started the wash and realised i'd forgotten to add steam so paused, selected steam, and continued the cycle... |

It would only allow a maximum of 1000rpm spin, once the cycle is complete i'll run it through a 1400rpm spin to get the last bits of moisture out to help the drying..... |

Hope you're getting on well with the LG F1479FDS5. As you can see from my picture I have the exact same washing machine, its 9 months old now! The only difference being mine doesn't have smart diagnosis as it was only introduced a few months ago. However, I hope that feature won't be needed anytime in the near future!
Its an amazing washing machine, and we sure have put it to some tests with muddy football kits, to stained bright whites, to duvets. Everything comes out spotless, the steam wash really gives a boost on stained clothes, we do use it quite a bit tbh. I've tried majority of the cycles but mainly use cottons 40oc and 60oc as the daily cycle. The spin performance as you've said is really good, surely helps with lots of washing to get done. If you have any questions feel free to ask away. Happy washing! :) |

I've recommended LG to you both without hesitation and I'm pretty sure you see why.
Pete. I'm sure your noticing the difference in your open plan living after the growly indesit motor :-) You'll notice how damn heavy the thing is it's well put together. The jet on it is excellent which really helps with the wash and rinse. Getting steam involved makes for an outstanding performance!! I miss mine alot but the hotpoint is serving me well at present. Maybe when I've moved I may consider saving for a new one!! Hope to see some more piccies :-p Here's a pic of my old machine which is still washing for my ex and kids 2 years after I bought it. The cutting out of the drain pump is normal, it has a sensor and ata certain point cuts out and as the clothes/duvet distributes tumbles and releases water it drains it and so on.
Its more apparent on heavy/unbalanced loads. Majority of the time the machine handles the loads very well, never had problmes with unbalanced loads. |

I have a nice one in red.It works great and does the horse blankets here on the farm.Moved here after repairing their P.O.S. GE "Hydrobash" for the last time. Problematic since the day they got it at H.D.I had five FLs to bring along and the LG has the largest capacity. so,the others are under the house (built 1938) and well secured.I had to help a duckling exit his egg but,his right side was paralized and the other 17 ducklings that hatched two days ago from the same set of eggs were trampling over him. I took him in and held him a while feeding him ground food and massaging his kneck and legs but,he died this afternoon.I took him to the duck's buryel area and put him to rest. The rest are already sold.
My hearing regarding SSDI/SSI is on May 8th. It is being done before a judge and, according to my current lawyer, wil be an open and shut case due to my current health and previous history.Staying here has had its own difficulties but, none like the ones at my last place.Five dogs, all realted,9 cats,57 ducks,17 rabbits, two hen chickens,a donkey,a cow,a worm farm and a horse all live here and get fed and watered twice daily.Wild bores are also here and shot on site or caught in a trap to get slautered and butchered. At least 2 dozen duck eggs a day get washed and placed in salt water for two weeks then sold as salted duck eggs for $10/doz.The others are sexed and placed in nests to hatch.Plenty to get done here and I already installed a laundry sink, weeded all the gardens (2 acres),mowed the entire lawns and planted tomatoes, carrots, and tarro.Today, I went to Rick and Traceie's gorgious farm overlooking the Pacific and repaired their Kenpool convertable dishwasher. I found a dime, a penny and a sewing needle stuck in the bottom by emptying it and turning it upside down and rocking hard on the floor. I then removed the items that fell via gravity and turned it rightside up. I then wheeled it back over, connected it back up and it runs fine.I'll be spending the night here to watch over "Negga" the huge black cat Rick spoils. |
