This is unbelievably cheap... just 159 quid for a washing machine... I'm flabbergasted!!

It seems that it has something in common with Swan and Bush... would you think so?

Thanks

That's a vestel machine that is produced for bush, russell hobbs and will soon be the machines the servis name will be reappearing on! They've also made a BOL model for whirlpool in the past.

Very cheap indeed! if you ever see one in the flesh there surprisingly sturdy for £159!!

That machine is actually better quality than a Haier/HEC.

Seen 1 in person, like Darren said it is made by Vestel, who are Beko's rival and make washers for White Knight and are currently restoring Servis for the UK market. Jacob

Curvy Control Panel

I thought I recognised the porthole door!

Darren, the one in your picture looks nicer than the one I posted... especially the control panel.

I just find it strange that nowadays we can just walk down a grocery store and pick up a fully fledged washing machine: I wonder it their shopping trolleys are sturdy enough to carry 80kg or whereabouts (plus the weight of your groceries) LOL

Perhaps one day washers and other appliances will no longer be branded by Bosch, Hotpoint, LG, etc. but by Tesco, Asda, M&S and so forth :-)

I don't see the point.....

Unless it's actually going to last as long as a Beko or Indesit (circa 3 years) then i think the environmental brigade should kick-off.

Given how we're told repeatedly to respect the planet i think it's disgraceful that someone may throw out a repairable older machine just because they can get a 'brand new' for such a cheap price.

The amount of appliances being disposed of now must be horrific. How's that looking after the planet?!

Liam
