Gansky - thanks for the input. I really knew little about these older KA units. John |

I have the KDI17. What a fabulous find! Looking for a KDS17 (like yours) to put in the kitchen. |

I just removed one that was lightly used yesterday from a one BR apartment where few of the residents over the years used a DW. It would be a fairly easy restore or good for parts. The porcelain tank and door are in excellent condition, it never had any repairs since the curent owner bought the building in 1975. To restore it would need new door springs, should also have a new pump main seal and inlet valve. Other wise this could run for many more years. Let me know if there is any interest in any or all of it. I would want $50 for the whole thing or major parts there of, or I will save a few parts and scrap the rest. |
