Does anyone have this dryer and the matching washer? I've seen them show up on the POD every now and then.

I first saw the washer mate to this beautiful dryer when I was in 6th grade. I was a student at St. Luke's School (not only in the West Village, but on the corner of Hudson and Christopher Streets, for Christ's sakes--and one of the first AIDS charitable congregations in the city), someone was always donating a Filter-Flo to the Rectory. Our Art Classes were held in a little studio in the basement of the Rectory and I, being a chronic wanderer, would excuse myself to go to the bathroom and then would explore the far reaches of that basement once I discovered that the nuns had filter-flo's to clean the sins from their duds. Usually, of course, the machines were used BOL's but this year, what I would come to know later in life as a WA-1250B showed up with its chromed buttons, space-age control panel, bells and whistles and, lo and behold, a Mini-Basket!!! It wasn't there long; it was replaced quickly with another FF BOL. Maybe it broke, maybe the nuns thought it was too fancy for them, who knows? Didn't see this machine again until 40 years later when I started viewing pictures on AW.org. GE had a couple of TOL stoves that looked like these.

My gram had this set from 1966-2001 and had the dryer to 2008.
I really wish I had a way to get it to me

TOL GE Washer and Dryer

I do indeed have this pair of GEs and of all the FF GE washers this is not only the most beautiful and well styled but my favorite, IMO. The washer was the only washer ever that had FOUR preset agitation speeds. The matching dryer was GEs last dryer with the economy heat setting.
