Hello all, i am back again, but i wish to start affresh :)
i have recentley aquierd a zanussi zdc37200w condenser dryer, the creda dryer that i lent to my sister had become damaged by her not cleaning the ducting, heat exchanger and filters, the creda also stopped drying items properly and left everything smelling abit stale.
good points:
2 filters, one in the door and one around the drum
reverse tumble
time steered drying
3 heat settings
7kg drum (1kg bigger than the hotpoint washer next to it)
large door opening
beeper at the end of a cycle.

bad points:
doesnt show how much time has elepsed

other than that its a fabulous dryer :)
Tom

I love my dryer, which is the sensor version of yours! I think Zanussi make the best dryers this side of Miele, and the drying results from mine are great. Mine takes an hour to dry a load of cottons that have been spun at 1600rpm. Do you miss not having sensor cycles, I know I would.

yes and no really, i miss seeing how much time has elapsed (like you would see with manual timers)
but i like to know when exacttly my washing will be dryed, the siemens and the zanussi both dry very well, the zanussi took 1h:30 to dry a large load of mixed fabrics, spun at 1200rpm.
i do love the heat selections :)
Tom :)

the washer i have in the wash house is a hotpoint hv6l105p, i really like it, the programes on it are very useful and i like the soap dispenser, it twists out instead of pulling out, its a pain to clean tho

Patsy DARLING.

I know your not skint to buy a machine with a proper timer.  Might I be ever so bold and suggest a standard electronic kitchen timer with count down feature.  Perhaps its a bit, shall we say, run of the mill, but the benefits are more than you would have from a machine mounted read out.  You would be able to keep said timer with you and not have to return to the machine to verify its progress.  Perhap, Darling,  allowing more time to enjoy a snifter or two.

Cheers Darling.  Absolutely FAAAB-ulous.

Lol, i see your a fan of absoloutly fabulous too? :)
I might acctually get a kitchen timer now youve mentioned it.
The dryer has got an automatic anti crease system at the end of the drying cycle, but sometimes i think its still drying when it does this as it only beeps when the drum isnt turning :s

Don't mean to hijack, BUT the episode when Eddie decides to drive she and Pats to save money may be one of my all time laugh out loud shows

Was it her getting pulled over by the traffic warden and falling out of the car, drunk?

Or perhaps it was Eds, in court, blithering on about taxing " the stupid people".
