Hi, Would anyone be interested in a free Frigidaire Gold Crown dryer in Coppertone color? It was working until last Saturday April 18. I opened up the back and could see that the belt was broken but I don't have a matching washer so I found an old Maytag set to replace my mismatched set with. I have the manual that came with it and installation instructions. The model is DN5, serial #36SA 8779. It has a few minor scratches and white out painted on the arrow marker of the dial (the last owner was legally blind and the white helped her see the dial??) that should come off. I live in Salem, Oregon if anyone is interested. Don't want to send it to the krusher.

Nice dryer! BTW, that's about 1968 or so, not 1973.

Nice to know!

I used Appliance 411 to date it, I guess it's not that accurate!

That looks like a dryer that Patrick (pdub) would love!

I'd be interested in the top, control panel and wiring. as well as the manual and the door... I have a similar one without the automatic setting and I'd like to modify it (I have never seen a similar Frigidaire dryer without even a fabric temp setting knob except the BOL models with the thin console). Mine isn't exactly as clean as yours either but I'll have to repaint it anyway. I sent you an email...
