Doesn't know model numbers

The seller doesn't know the model numbers and they are at their cottage. I said I'd take them and can leave tomorrow. Just firming up when they'd like me to drive out. We'll see.....

I agree with John that this may be a SUDS. How cool. Hope you get it, and grateful for Kenny's hopeful reminder to all comers: "They're still out there."

Wow,  I don't live far from there.

If I can help secure them for you, let me know.

I agree that the buttons on the console indicate that it is/was a sudsaver model.  The long snouted hose, draped over the machine looks like a sudsaver drain hose.  But, I'm wondering where the other drain hose is.++

That big red L.......

That is really nice of you, Applianceguy!
The seller asked when I would come. I said I'd leave tomorrow morning, bringing cash, then....... nothing.
I'm feeling that big red L burning in my forehead......

Well its 38 minutes from my parents home.

I'm surprised there isn't more stuff by you.  Especially upstate NY.  Buffalo must be a treasure trove.

Heres an 80s tag in Seneca.

Holy Smokes!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I will definitely call these. Actually there ARE some pretty neat finds out this way. It's just finding that elusive 806 in white for my mom....I've offered her my harvest set but no go.

You know I slipped into my last e-mail to the seller that either my husband or I would make the drive. He and I have both noted he is taken more seriously at this stuff than I am. sigh. I would hate to think it is a girl thing AND a driving from out of state thing, but there you are. In any case, we will try contacting the seller again and mention we have a friend close by. Could be just the thing.

Thank you very much!

I think you'll like this one.  $75 for both.  You take the washer.  I'll take the dryer.

In, heaven forbid, Indiana though.

Christina's Dial-A-Ride

Not an 806 though, right?
Listen, anything I can help you (or anyone) with let me know. My comfort zone for driving is pretty wide. We've got a heavy duty dolly, I drive a Dodge Grand Caravan and we have a trailer. I can slap a washer or dryer on the dolly and slide it in the van with ease. Don't hesitate to ask.

Just Heard Back - what's this model?

We just got an e-mail back.
Seller says the washer is a 9010 Maytag Model 273, dryer is HOH G606.
I've never heard of that washer model. Can anyone explain?
Thanks.

I should add he is looking at manuals. The machines themselves are some distance away.
Is it possible the washer is an A606S?

I think somebody needs to use a magnifying glass to read their model#'s. I think the washer is a S/S. I blew the picture up. There's extra buttons on the bottom left-hand side of the panel. Plus I think I'm seeing extra markings on the dial. It's the older model with the three water levels.

Maytag A207S, DG606 HOH

Yep, we thought so too and mentioned that to the seller. A very nice person named Chris took another look at the paperwork and said the washer is an A207S. I need to keep looking for an 806 so if anyone is interested, please conact Chris at goatfarmer's link above. We told Chris another club member may get in touch so feel free to mention your connection. Remember, the machines are at the cottage which is apparently some distance from the seller's home.

Thanks again for all your help/suggestions on this.
