Craig's List

"Older Maytag dryer in WONDERFUL shape. I was given a new model, so I'm parting with this classic. Takes a little long to dry the clothes (needs new element?) but it gets hot and does work just fine."

Why do they say "works just fine", when in the previous sentence, they say 'takes too long to dry clothes"? C'Mon, people, it's one or the other!

It's like when a town would have a spring cleanup, and there might be a refrigerator on the sidewalk. I would be looking at it, and the guy on the porch would say "It works, it just don't get cold....."

Looks like a DE407 to me, could also be a DE306. Resolution on the dial is too poor to make out exactly if it just has a "Regular" timed portion, a "PP" timed portion and an "Air" portion (the DE306) or if in addition to the timed cycles it also has the thermostatic "Auto Dry" part (the DE407).
