I just bought the parts I need for my Maytag ensignia washer, I know you all probably think im crazy for buying $300 in parts for a Norgetag but I love those machines and I am willing to sink more money into it than I am my older Maytag helical drive washer......which i cannot stand because the capacity was so small....which is another reason i like Norgetag's, they have a huge capacity, actually like the biggest top loader made in the last ten years. I really don't think Norgetag's are as unreliable as the reviews on the internet....and reliability isn't a huge issue for me, i only do about 2 loads of laundry every 2 days, unlike the people that do the reviews and have huge families that likely overload the machines and do 4 loads a day. But anyway, My Norgetag started making a burning smell because the motor overheated, from the research I did the motor overheated for one of 2 reasons, the first being that the thrust bearing wore out and the transmission pulley was rubbing on the belt which overheated the motor, or the pump bearings wore out and the motor overheated from trying to turn a bad pump, so I don't know which problem it had but these are the parts I ordered: pump, Motor, Belt (In case the old one is wore out), snubber (The machine has a balance issue as well), thrust bearing kit with new pulley, and a spring release tool for removing the six springs, so...im stocked lol now lets hope to god the transmission doesn't fail soon because I just don't have the money for anymore parts....especially new parts (these are all new parts from ebay) anyway, I will post pictures when its running again with the new parts, and a video if anyone wants to see it in action.....
