Got the washer home and LOTS of cleanup to do. Washer is a 1-speed V-16 and while it is somewhat worn, it's mechanically mint! So quiet and smooth, nothing like the 86...
Fyi, the filter hose was completely stopped up, and after a pipe cleaner and a good flushing, all kinds of muck came out as seen here... |

The Washer model is a "1GA 550C3 Y" and it looks like the serial is "DG133 857(?)"
The washer plate was hard to photograph, the dryer was easier to read, The Dryer is a model "(XX) 520A1 W" with the 1st 2 digits not being readable and the serial is "TA202 249" I know they ar not the same age, the washer reads "V-16" and the dryer is a "V-14" with a green drum and horizontal handle. The washer's control panel is a victim of some laundry spray chemicals and it very fragile... May be searching for a new one as well as rubber feet. |
