I was reading consumer reports today and noticed alsmost every GE front load washer received just a "good" score for gentlesess, yet the samsung top load received "very good" it seems like one would think the samsung would be rougher on clothing than a front load.... hmmm, the reason i am asking is because i am thinking about possibly selling my frigidaire wci pair for a bigger machine, the new machine must have little vibration and be QUIET.

1 The last GE FL I knew of WAS a Frigiwhite. Rebadge of the same model I have. The most noise it makes is water filling it. I'd call it "mid capacity" but capacity specs haven't really meant anything for at least 20 years. And who knows what GE is selling today, other than "probably not Miele"? Brand names mean NOTHING today. The entire industry has become a circlejerk of lowest-bidder parts suppliers.
