Hydrowave The one Hotpoint listed on their website does appear to be a hydrowave based. I don't think GE is making any transmission models anymore, even in BOL machines. | ||

Jon/Retroman Look at the Fisher & paykel When my mothers maytag 1806 rusted through this what i got her for a good top load. Great quite and spins at 1100 so clothes dry fast.

Hey Jon, Did you check Fletcher's up on Amhearst Street? They used to be pretty good. Another option might be to check CL for an old Maytag Neptune that has had all of the updates done to it (especially the PHA motor upgrade). These machines when all updated can be bought for cheap money and they are pretty robust, quiet and efficient. | ||
