Detergent doesn't specifically dissolve in the cup ... it mostly falls out when the cup opens and what's left it washed out by the spraying arm. If your cup not opening at all? Or it opens but there's caked detergent left when the cycle is over? That is typically caused by aged detergent, by insufficient spray pressure or volume (which in turn can have any of several causes), or by spray to the cup blocked by a large item loaded at front of the lower rack. |
