![]() Sorry I don't have a picture.
Dilemma... When we closed my parent's estate years ago I got my grandmother's Crosley Shelvador and sis got her Crown gas range. Both are 1954 models but our family owned both since 1966 when gram passed. Both still work. Range is a full size with clock and fluorescent light. Pretty basic overall. Well, sis is remodeling the basement and doesn't need the range anymore. She'll only release it to me. It won't go to anyone else or the junkyard. After 60 years, it is cosmetically rough and needs a true refurbishing. I DO like the unit. My mother said it baked really well. Admittedly my attachment is mostly sentimental But I do have the pink Hotpoint Custom Trend in the basement and the range in the kitchen. I really don't need more cooking capacity. Should I send it off for refurbishing and save for that cottage that may never materialize? Or should I just let it go to its reward.. with honors? | ||
