Another version turns up!
Well I have never seen this as a Hoover before, but here in the UK I have seen it as a Bendix and also as an Electrolux (square rather than round buttons). Sold here in the late 1970s, manufactured in Italy, I suspect by philco. If memory serves I think UK member Ricky 5050 had one, and another cropped up last year on ebay here as well. Nice machine if its still working
