I think most of those fires aren't from the machine blowing up, more like they have actually been set on fire, or they were in a house fire caused by other things. I think there has been more reported cases of indesit & Ariston fires than there has Bosch & Siemens ones. | ||

Its not always easy know if its the dryer or washing machine that have caught fire. Not even when the firefighters have stopped the fires. Its true that Ariston and Indesit have had many fire cases. Zanussi machine have also a reputation for cathing fire. I,m thinking about these machines you see it has started in the programmer. | ||

50594 This gives you something to think about, most all of these pictures look like the washing machine was the cause of the fire, something shorted out in the switching, or electronocs, Possible the water heating switching, I wonder if they had been on a Ground Fault Interuptor circuit if some of these would not have happened. | ||
