Liquid Detergent Stuck On Fingers? |

  Here's a little tip I found the other day and want to pass along to our members.
Have you ever used Dawn or another liquid laundry detergent and got it on your fingers and washed them and washed them only to still have the slick feeling on your fingers? I had that happen the other day and I got the idea to try to wash my hands with Dial bar soap. One quick wash & rinse with Dial and all the slickness of the liquid detergent was gone! No more residue. Neat! | ||

You may not like the reason. Bar soaps plus minerals in water equals bathtub ring, bathtub ring is not slippery, and that's what the Dial coated your fingers with. No worries, Dawn will take it off. | ||

 A splash of white distilled vinegar should cut any slick feeling on the fingers quickly.
Also works if you get garden goo (like from slugs and snails) on your fingers. Any mild acid will do, like lemon or lime juice. Reminds me of the opening scene in a movie I once saw, where the female lead is rinsing her mouth out with a lemon. I won't say in this section why she felt this necessary... lol... | ||
