good at history but not repair I have a 10 year old whirlpool dryer that has suddenly decided its goal in life is to get as hot as it can without actually catching on fire. Any idea what gives? |

While i'm not sure of the exact dryer, try running it on lower temperatures, usually, if all the temp settings are just as hot as high, then it could be a bad cycling thermostat. |
