Good guessing game!

A Whirlpoo on the back... Maytag Highlander behind driver - maybe a match next to that on passenger side, but what's that in the middle??

Ha!

Partick ... I don't think I'll ever have as many machines as RV ... I'm about where I want to be collection-wise ... need to start looking for machine mates ... Robert rule (one in one out) will apply shortly. I do hope to have a wash-in at some point.

Keep guessin! LOL!

Yes ... one is a sexy Whirlpool Imperial dryer!

I did some digging and found your pix of Sarah.  She's the washer I was thinking of, but now realize she's not a match.

Sarah is a "Supreme" doll ...

And will be a companion to the Imperial dryer (now named IDA)... until I find a matching machine for either one or both =).

I've got the 56 WP Imperial set. I got the washer first (2003), then couple years later got the dryer from Kenny (Goatfarmer) Hope you find the matching washer one day. They really make a nice set. I think Paul from Canada found a 56 WP washer not too long ago, so I guess they are still out there.

Thanks Rick!

I knew someone I have chatted with had the set ... you have a youtube video out there showing the washer in action right?

Rick's right about me having a '56 Whirlpool set, too! It originally belonged to Chuck (laundromat), then John (combo52), then me - glad I 'kept it in the family'...

Paul, I did not remember that you have the matching dryer too. Thats so cool!

Scott, That would be great if there were 3 sets of the 56 Whirlpool Imperials in this club! I did put up a you tube video of the set.

Scott, I believe you unearthed a needle in a haystack as far as I'm concerned. I believe every Timeline washer I've seen collected here has had a blue background or area on the control panels. I don't think I"ve ever seen one with the golden/yellow area. And why do I comment, ponder about this? Because my parents' first dryer was a gas dryer that matched this washer exactly asnd I've not seen one like this since it went out the door February 1965. If someone does have one that's more golden/yuellow than aoll the blues I've seen around here, I'd love to see it and be gentle "corrected". I shall correct myself a bit here. I do believe Robert's TimeLine has the gold pattern in the control panel. But it appears this model's panel isn't backlit. Our dryer was also not backlit and had this style of lettering and such on our dryer.

Thanks!

All were single seller Ebay finds ... The story goes something like this:

The seller is slowing cleaning out is grandfathers house(the grandfather is now living with the seller). The grandfather used to tinker on EVERYTHING.. so any time he saw something at the side of the road ... or at another friend or relative's house ... he picked it up. All of these machines (along with piles and piles of other stuff) were crammed into this little old man's house/basement/garage. The seller is slowing cleaning and selling the items and giving ther $ to his grandpa for spending cash, lottery tickets etc).

And they are all pretty dirty ...

The Norge machines are especially dirty ... and it looks like maybe a squirrel or some other little beasty may have sought refuge in Nerissa at one time. I have cleand them all up some ... hope to take a few more pics soon. Ida the Imperial was pretty clean ... and was being used from time to time.

Nerissa gets a quick bath

While on break from remodel demolition... I decided to do a little more clean up ... I'm hoping the house paint on the cabinet will come off easily ... Luckily, it peals right off the porcelain top.
