I am searching for a pair of replacement drum rollers for that lovely GE V12 dryer I recently found - the original ones have a lovely 'flat spot' that makes the dryer noisier than all get-out when it runs!

I think I found the correct GE part number for the roller, but if anyone could tell me for sure, this would be greatly appreciated!

The part I think I need is WE1X5103...

Please let me know if any further information is needed.

Thanks!!!

My 1962 parts dealer book shows WE1X198 for the roller itself, this matches the 1959 GE service manual as well.

Thank you, Greg!  You just saved me from making an $80 mistake!

You can replace the almost always noisy rollers on these dryers with the the Teflon slide kit that GE switched to a few years later.

Found a NOS set of these rollers on eBay!  They'll be shipped to my mailing address in Vermont and with any luck, I will be able to pick them up on the upcoming holiday weekend.   This dryer will be 'compensated controlling' my clothes before too long!
