Darryl finally got the 1956 Pulsamatic dryer rewired and it is working great.
I have enclosed some pics for everyone's enjoyment. The white tape near the heating element is "Fiberglass" tape to keep the heat from melting the plastic wiring.

It is actually set up for 110 volts

1956 - Gray Interior - This dryer is also a "vented" dryer not a filtrator - Lint tray in middle.

What did you do to set it up for 110 Volts

It was already set up that way when I got it so we just wired it back exactly as it was. It is actually plugged into a 220 volt outlet.
