lol. Wish I could, Eric. As you can plainly see it's not from 1978. The person whom I did the text with assumed it was from 1978 because that's when their mother bought it. I still don't know if it was a man or a woman. I'm assuming a man. Speaking of gas or electric dryers from the original post, didn't gas dryers from this era have a blue flame in the bottom right-hand corner of the glass panel? If they did and there is also no gas valve access door on the front of this machine, I'm wondering if this is even the picture of the dryer that's for sale.
