Hello all. I can't get this washer to drain, and I'm just about to put a bullet into the front to expedite the process. I'll take one last shot (pun intended).

It would fill/agitate, but then seemed to pause when it should have been pumping out the water. I would advance the timer by hand and it would agitate again, but stop once more when it came time to drain.

I removed the timer and found a connection that had obviously been running too hot (upper right in photo). Could something jam the pump? This afternoon I'll try tipping it over to see if I can find anything obvious.

Don't Worry About The Pump

You need a new Timer and Wiring Harness or if you are very handy and the connector plug is not damaged you may be able to repair the wiring, but if you just plug in a new timer it may not last long.

Is the pump on this purely mechanical, driven by the same motor as the agitator? I wouldn't have much trouble cleaning up the harnesses/timer, I see this kind of damage all the time in cars.

I think you may have a bad lid switch.

The Timer is also coming apart at the seams, It will not work the way it is, worry about what you know is broken.
