I am wondering if anyone knows where I may find a manual or parts list or anyplace that sells old Maytag wringer washer parts. I am just going around in circles looking online for parts to wringer washers. Mine is a J model. Not sure if it is J2L or just J. It has red bakelight agitator, and the red bar on wringer, and does have a water pump. The pump is what I want to work on. The rubber wheel that gets it's power from the flywheel when activated is worn down so it no longer makes good enough contact to run the pump, also I would like to buy new drain hose. My original got so hard, and cracked, and I would like to replace it. I found a site with some parts, but lost it, and cannot for the life of me find it again. Maytag club is pretty much useless.

I don't remember the nice man's name, but he sells Maytag wringer washer parts on eBay so if you search Maytag wringer parts or something similar on eBay, you should find him. I believe he is in NY. |
