I'm going to look at a circa 1949 Maytag Dutch Oven gas range on Monday. The owner is asking $150.00. I do know that the broiler pan is rusted, but the rest of the range looks immaculate from the pics he sent me.

Maytag Ranges Anyone have any idea which manufacturer made these "Dutch Oven" gas ranges for Maytag? Chambers is the only other manufacturer besides Maytag that had recipes included utilizing stored heat cooking. Recipes in their instruction books had "gas on" and "gas off" cooking times

I believe it is Globe Range Corp that made them.
