Love that you can smoke and leave your butt on the machine with no worries! Hotpoint porcelain!

And the lady of the house always does laundry in her evening gown! How fabulous!

Evening gowns and cigarettes, how classy! ;-)

A big thank you goes out to Ken/bajaespuma for donating today's fabulous doctrine. The Duo-Tub is an amazing machine and would be a super rare find!!!

Hotpoint promoted smoking while washing for a long time, you could use it as an end table with no worries about aunt Lulu missing the ashtray.

Found this picture a while back while surfing around department store pics - beautiful Duo-Tub! I remember seeing a couple of these washers on the farm with the white porcelain wash-tub, they were really cool!

I grew up with Hotpoint washers. They had such awsome designs. We only had BOL models. They did wash very well but werent very durable lasting machines.
Does anyone know if these dryers in the daily doctorine were still the hotpoint design or were they already the GE design? Also when did they stop making the condenser dryer?
