Difficulty...![]() I'm sorry, but that post had hardly any punctuation (periods, commas, capital letters) and therefore was extremely difficult to read. Whenever I try to read vast, epic one-liners like that, I mentally switch off and can't be bothered to read the rest.
Now at your age, you should know better. There can be no excuse.

I will admit I am very lazy when it come's to punctuation, but that still wasn't the response I had hoped for on a website about domestic appliances. Punctuation aside, I do hope you liked my washer.

Hi Tom, thanks for commenting. Lovely machines aren't they? I have seen yours on you tube very cool I can't wait to get the dryer I had an email today saying it was now being packaged and dispatched from supplier. Would love to know where they make their dryers and washers for that matter

While I'm no fan of the current range of Candy laundry appliances, I hope you get some enjoyment out of it. Thier Washing Machines are either made in Italy at their Brugherio plant or in China at thier Jiangmen plant. I don't know if you can tell the difference but I'd guess if it doesn’t say "Made in Italy" on the raiting sticker then its probably a Chinese example.

Checked the plate it doesn't say. So it must be Russia or china lol it is the slim one which is another thing I'm impressed with.

I love Candy appliances regardless of where they're made![]() Congratulations on your washer... I hope it keeps up the good work!
I've got a soft spot for this brand too, especially for their washers/dishwasher and I can't wait for my UK made Hoover washer and Italy made Candy d/washer to bite the dust so I can get my hands on their newer sexier range. If you like this group, you get a wider choice with Hoover, as the available Candy appliances tend to be from their bottom of the range in the UK. Speak u soon ;-)

I believe you can get the candy evo's here which are meant to be good. I've always had a thing for candy ever since 95 when my mother got a combiwash great machine then and lasted about 13 years and I'm equally impressed with mine now

Great videos and informative post, thanks. I hope your Candy provides many years pleasurable use. I like the fact that Candys self adjust themselves according to the load. Very much like my Zanussi which adapts the wash time, rinse drum speed and water levels according to the load. I like the Evo machines with the jet wash.

Hottiecrazy or Candycrazy?![]() Hi Hottiecrazy, I know what you mean about the Evo range... as far as their washing machines go, some models are not basic, although they don't seem to feature the whisper quiet option (invertor motor) like Hoover does or even your previous Hottie (which I've seen on your vids - btw what happened to it?).
I absolutely adore those Evo machines and I might very well get 1 as soon as my current washer throws a wobbly. My real disappointment comes from their dishwashers, there's only 1 model from the Evo range and it's rather basic.

The hotpoint I sold it it just wasn't right for me the wash results are quite poor plus you use more detergent with it being such a big load plus took me ages to fill it my candy is just the right size. I've seen the evo with a silent motor somewhere....

![]() one thing to note: all hoover and candy dryers are now fitted with a frost protection sistem that stops the dryer from starting in under 8*c temperatures, GIAS (hoover/candy service force) recomend putting a jug of hot water in the drum to warm the sensor's up to get it to work, alternativley you could use a hot water bottle or you could take the filter out and either put your hand on the sensor for 10 secs or use a hair dryer on a warm setting to warm it up :)
i should be getting my candy grand'o dryer on the 2nd of Aug so if you havent had yours by then i can let you know what the results of it are like :) Tom :)
