Is this the same was the WP Calypso, or is it newer like the Cabrio? |

No it's a Cabrio. This has a "wash plate" that turns back & forth like an agitator.
I have a set of 2006 WP Cabrios (built by F&P) I got a month or so ago. The washer works well, but needs bearings (it roars when it spins). The dryer worked fine for 3 loads and now the drum doesn't turn when started. I haven't taken the dryer apart yet, but I assume it's a belt or the idler.
Personally I'm not convinced they do that great of a job cleaning or are all that gentle on the clothes.
