Now that the drum bulb has come in...(a 110v bulb with the socket like a car taillight)..it's time to light it up!...first push this button!

The drum light does not come on when the door is opened...you have to push the button!

now to attend to the other problems...the timer does not work...the auto dry sensor does not work...there is a knocking sound when it spins...but is sure looks pretty!!!

That is a beautiful dryer Jerry. Does yours have the lint hose catcher inside the top lid? If so, any pictures of that and how it works?

Very nice!

My mom's first dryer was a later ('63) and plainer version of yours. The window was oval instead of rectangular. We had it until '73 when she got the Maytags.

Hope you'll be able to get yours functioning properly without too much problem.
