6 Months in and my wife's new Speed Queen AWN 412 is preforming good to excellent on getting our cloths clean. No issues at all except my wife decided she wanted to wipe the plastic ring dry after every use and she "accidentally" shoved the rag between the top and the ring and it fell inside the machine. I took the front off the machine and the rag had fallen about 8 inches to the left of the motor where nothing was at on the bottom of the machine. 5 minutes to get the front off, grab the rag and she was back in business.

I do have to admit that the Speed Queen top loader is a old school top loader but one thing is my wife loves it, it gets the cloths clean the whites are actually white when the machine is done and the simple mechanical knobs let my wife figure out how to the laundry instead of our old front loader (that was broke twice in the first 5 months) that was always making the laundry cycles of a 1 hour to a hour and a half we now are taking the cloths out at 35-45 minutes.

I know that this machine uses more water but that is what the wife wanted and she actually does all the laundry in a half a day on the weekend instead of spread out over two days from before

Glad to hear you are happy with the machine. I was tempted to buy one of these for my Mom, but they have a cistern, it would drain it quickly so she wants a front loader instead.

I wish I could afford to buy her a Huebsch ZFN50R...

Good report.  Keep us posted on how it does with belts down the road.
