I've never seen any dryer made by GE (in US or Canada) that looked like that. That style top makes me think it may be a WCI product.

Moffat is a WCI Product. Moffat and Inglis are both Canadian brands from the same company.

Inglis is a Whirlpool product, not WCI.

Amd Moffat appliances are now GE (Camco/Mabe) products but I have a Moffat water heater that's made by GSW. Hard to understand... Maytag water heaters are also GSW now!

Back in the 1950's, Crosley refrigerators were sold as "Moffat Crosley" here in Canada and later, refrigerators and washers/dryers were similar to Norge!

Look at this ad from 1960...

Phil if you go to page 118 on that Ottawa Citizen newspaper link you gave,, you'll see an advertisement for Westy Slant Front's  $249.. in 1960 .. On page 132 there's  Youngstown Dishwasher ad.  along with some  Westinghouse fridges etc. .. Quite interesting to move through it.
