Nice Magic Chef washers, I want one for sure!! Never knew they made such a nice machine, and the dryers are great too! Now to go on the hunt!

I didn't realize the little Philco-Bendix (Italian made?) front loaders were sold under the Tragic Chef brand as well. I have service manuals for these machines downstairs - also sold under the Kenmore brand for a while, I think Peter has, or had one??

Those little front loaders were sold by some store in the DC area, maybe Reliable Home Appliances. A few wound up in the townhouses in Greenbelt where they were often called on to lots of laundry. John and Jeff both worked on them and were sometimes amazed at what was loaded in them to wash. Those machines just kept tumbling.

I have the Kenmore version of that little front loader. Took it out of service when the electric pump started leaking...
