That is the dryer made by Silex. Maybe it has a coffee roaster attachment. It was weird in the big Sears on Ponce de Leon; if you walked down the main aisle past the appliance department, there was a funny department on the left side of the aisle with closet stuff, irons and this dryer and the washer. I never got to go too far into it because I had to be where mom and dad could see me bacause I was not supposed to wander away from them. I guess these were "minor" appliances as opposed to major appliances.

Even for an older appliance, it's crudely designed.

I actually like the design. It would look very at home next to a vintage 40s Bendix washer.

I think it looks pertty darn cool.  But at only 110Volts, I wonder why they bother with 3 temps on that dial. Isn't that near to impossible with a decent amount of air passing through, and only 110? It looks old, unique, worn out, and fun.

I wonder how many times that dryer door has hit the ground in it's lifetime.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

M&D parked me in the washer dept because they knew I wouldn't wander. Those were the days of the see-thru washers full of poker chips. Where else would I rather be? Toys just sat there in boxes. Washers MOVED. And that schweet smell of neoprene!

Those were also the days when kids could play outdoors or hang out in Sears appliance without getting abducted or molested.
