hey, i was wondering, if anyone knew where i could get replacement parts for my kd-2p? i just picked it up. it looks on the outside almost new. i took the back cover off when i got it home, and it looks like it was updated in the late 80s early 90s. so it has a newer three prong plug. the hoses are not all the hold. i got it for free from a couple that said it leaked. have not hooked it up to find out what leaks but would like to know where i could get parts for it to make work if needed. it fits my original 50s kitchen well. all i need to do now is find a 50s looking refrigerator. found a new stove that is in the 50s style.. thanks

The help of our Hobart Master STEVET.  He has worked for Hobart for over 20 years and knows all about every DW they ever made.  I don't belive Hobart has made any parts for this in 40 years but he might know of some.

What parts are you looking for ?

Some KD 10-12 parts MAY be interchangable, but stevet would know for sure.

Just hope it's not the drain valve. They seem to be almost extinct.

Yes what parts do you need, the pump and motor are like KD11-14 FL KA DWs, this machine would likely have been built with a three wire power cord unless it was a very early machine.

parts

well, right now i know i may need the spinning sprayer inside, and the sink connector. then when i took the cover off the back i noticed a spot that to me it should have a hose, but there is not one... its about 2 inches of open space, where the water would spray down into another bigger hole then goes up and into the washer... to me i think it should have a hose on it.

Missing hose ? , There is not supposed to be a hose on the outlet of the fill valve, the water is designed to spray into the tub flume, this was done to comply with plumbing regulations so dirty water could not possibly back up into the homes plumbing in the event of pressure loss in the domestic water supply.
